Christmas Services
Christmas Eve celebration at 11 p.m.
This is a very moving service filled with the joy of the coming Christ. We close by singing Silent Night and lighting candles. The sanctuary becomes filled with only the light from our candles and is truly a sight to behold. Children are invited to wear their pajamas so parents can easily slip them into bed after the late service. Christmas Day celebration at 10 a.m. We celebrate our Christ’s birth on Christmas morning with inspirational messages and song. |
Lenten Season
Fastnacht
Otherwise known as Fat Tuesday, Fastnacht is a traditional German party the night before the solemn season of Lent begins. We have a traditional German meal of pancakes and sausage and a band plays old German music. Ash Wednesday service at 7p.m. This is the first day of our Lenten season. During Lent we remember Christ’s sacrifice and challenge ourselves to walk closer to Him for the next 40 days. Good Friday service at 7 p.m. This is a dark service recalling Christ’s crucifixion on the Friday before Easter. |
